Paniolo Preservation Society is proud to sponsor a release event for Leilani S. Hino’s “Cowboy Kaona” featuring Hawaii cowboys from 1979 to 1988. On Friday, November 25th, Ms. Hino will discuss the book with family and friends including honored guests and relatives of those who appear in the book.

Excerpt from the forward by PPS Founding Member, Dr. Billy Bergin.

Rarely is found a person of youth gifted with a photographic eye that grasps the emotion, beauty, serenity and spontaneity of the Hawaiian Cowboy… Leilani’s images need no captions. Viewers will be anxious to decipher for themselves the grand story, the lesson, the message, the aura, the kaona.
