Buckles

An initial order of 50 Waiomina Centennial commemorative buckles created especially for us by Gist Silversmiths are expected to arrive in mid-July. Silver and gold plated, these buckles feature a steer roper and Cheyenne Frontier Days logo® and sell for $125. Also available, a collector’s limited edition of 10 numbered sterling silver buckles with gold electroplate for $500 apiece. click on image for detail.

Maquette

Ikua Purdy – Fred Fellows, a well-known Western artist, designed a larger-than-life bronze statue representing Ikua Purdy roping a wild steer.

Our focus is statewide and represents all cowboys from all of the Hawaiian islands. PPS is committed to increasing public awareness of the historical, present-day and future significance of Hawaii's ranching industry and the honored traditions of its paniolo.
