EVERY WEDNESDAY – THE WAIMEA MIDWEEK FARMERS MARKET. The Waimea MidWeek Market at the Paniolo Heritage Center at Pukalani Stables is THE place to be on Wednesdays from 9am – 4:00pm. Located within the majestic stables of world famous Parker Ranch, this farmer’s market offers visitors and shoppers a large variety of fresh locally grown, raised and produced products, including coffee from around the state, local organic produce, island honey, handmade soaps, free range grass fed beef, handmade jewelry, crafts, plenty of snacks, a variety of hot plate lunches (pork teri, lau lau, fish tacos, pasta, sliders) and all kinds of great gifts. There is paniolo style music to enjoy while you shop, and in addition to the market, Pukalani Stables is home to the Museum of the Hawaiian Paniolo, expertly run by the Paniolo Preservation Society and FREE to the public on market days.
